Weimaraner was developed by Noblemen from the court of Weimar in 1800's and they were originally known as “Weimar Pointer” this breed was prized because of its excellent hunting skills. This
dog breed often called as “Grey Ghost” and it was first imported to the United States in 1929 by Howard Knight who has founded the U.S breed club.
It is an excellent breed for sportsmen, they are fast and powerful dogs. They are originally appeared in the 19th century.
