Dr Norton is a friendly and knowledgeable vet. When my dog was sick he always came to the phone when I called for a update.
Unfortunately my dog died while in his care. He personally phoned to give me the news and was very sympathetic and understanding. He also took care of the arrangements for the cremation which was nice.
However, dealing with the gestapo tactics of the accounting side of the practice was a nightmare. Even though Ann did give me a little extra time to pay my bill she was completely unsympathetic to my cause and refused to release my dogs ashes to me until the very substantial bill was paid in full. I offered to make 3 equal installments over 3 months and she refused stating that "most people don't pay their bill after they get their pets ashes returned to them".
I also never received my dogs collar which I was told would be kept in safekeeping. Even though Dr Norton is a competent vet, I will never again return to this practice.
