Schnoodles are not purebred dogs; in fact they are a mix between the poodle and schnauzer dogs. The easiest way to know their behavioral pattern is to look at the nature of their parents. But, a cross breed dog could get any characteristics that are found in either of the breed.

Schnoodle is recognized by the Canine Hybrid Club of US. These designer hybrids are usually 50%
purebred mating to 50% purebred. Breeders often try to breed different combinations of multi-generation crosses.
Physical Features of Schnoodle Dogs

Schnoodles could have coat patterns of either breed-they may have rough double coats like the Schnauzer or smooth soft hair like the Poodle coat. Some schnoodles may also have a mix combination of coats with some parts being rough and other parts being soft. The most common coat color is black-but there are dogs with white, grey, brown or apricot colored coats. Multi-colored Schnoodles often have mixed colors like black and white.

As this hybrid breed is mostly hypoallergenic, many people love to have them as pet dogs. They are quite popular as family companion dogs. Some are adopted as pets just for their unique cross
breed connection. They are quite lovable as pets and could be trained easily by their masters.
Behavioral Pattern of Schnoodle Dogs
The behavorial pattern of Schnoodles may be assessed by trying to understand the temperaments of both parent dog breeds –Schnauzer and Poodle. They are affectionate, witty and very easy to train. As
Pet Dogs they are very energetic, happy and lovable. The small sized schnoodles make great lap dogs. They could have mixed temperaments and character features of any of the parent breed. They can have amazing vocabulary powers, they are able to understand phrases like go get your ball or have your meal with ease. They are known to participate in dog shows, sporting actions and other doggy functions. They are naughty and dominating. The dominant ones may have lesser curls on their coats.
Specific Schnoodle Traits
Some schnoodles do develop hair in the ear area. This is not good and has to be removed with help of groomer or vet. Otherwise this breed is prone to ear infections. This
