Tesco Pet Insurance is underwritten by UK Insurance Limited (UKI), they exchange data with approved organizations for underwriting and fraud prevention purposes. It is authorized and regulated by the Financial Services Authority. The information will be used by Tesco personal Finance and may also pass to other organizations. When Tesco Insurance is bought, we get 20% discount on line, and also if more than one pet is insured, then we will get a further 5%discount off the reduced premium. Tesco Pet Insurance is a cover. There is no maximum age limit for the pets. The policy conditions will not be changed after the pet gets older. The payment is fixed and excess, so that you will always know what you need to pay. The cover is flexible to tailor our insurance to suit our needs. Two levels of covers are possible.

They are: Standard cover and Extra cover.

• Standard cover: It is the cover which treats an injury or illness. It has a time limit of maximum of 12 months cover from the start of the condition.


• Extra cover: It covers the cost of treating an injury or illness more the capacity of the standard cover. Unlike standard cover, it has no time limit on claiming a live policy. The other great thing about this pet insurance cover is that it covers the condition unlimited. It means that if your pet has any problem for life caused by the accident or illness then it will be covered.
