Pembroke has short straight legs and they are lighter in weight compared to Cardigans. The Pembroke dogs are 10 to 12 inches in height, the bitches are also of the same height like their male counterparts. The male dogs weigh about 25 to 30 pounds, whereas the female bitches may weigh a pound or two less.
