The Golden Retriever is a sturdy, beautiful, well-proportioned dog with a feathered, medium-length and having cream to golden-colored coat. The outer coat is waterproof and the undercoat is dense. The head of
dog breed is broad, with a tapering, but wide, powerful muzzle. The teeth of this dog has a scissors bite and a clear frontal stop. The nose is black in color.
The eyes are intelligent in expression, medium in size, close-fitting rims, dark, set well apart and reasonably deep in sockets with dark rims. Color of the eyes is preferably dark brown or medium brown acceptable. Narrow eyes and slant, triangular eyes detract from correct expression which are to be faulted. The ears are pendant and medium sized.
