In our family owned kennel Elkhorn Kennels, we raise our dogs in our home as part of our family. We devote a lot of time to our dogs giving them the maximum amount of time and commitment. We work closely with our vets to bring up healthy social puppies. All our dogs are AKC registered, and DNA certified. They usually come from carefully selected bloodlines for the best health and temperament. Due to the small size of our kennel, we provide traditional, smooth coated, red and black and tan, miniature Dachshunds only. "Miniature", refers to the AKC breed standard for miniature Dachshunds. We do not breed unusually small or large dogs. |  |
