About the Chinook Breed

These dogs grow about 25 to 27 inches in height; males are taller than the females. The average weight is around 50 to 70 pounds. They have a lifespan of about 10 to 15 years. It is a Northern breed dog from New Hampshire region.

Physical Features of Chinook Dogs

This breed has a power-packed muscular frame. The body tone is superbly balanced with deep chest, prominent bone structure and powerful muzzle. The mouth area is well-formed with enduring razor-sharp teeth structure. The ears are usually pricked up and the projecting black nose is endowed with wide nostrils.
