It also fits into the back of your car in case you want to take the cat tree somewhere out of the town. The base itself is a condo which is 12inches high, 20 inches wide and 20 inches deep. With 20 inches base to play with, you can ask your cat to share the room with any guest cat. Then there is another condo some inches above. This one is slightly smaller. Instead of 20" depth, it gives only 14" playground. But even then with two luxury condo and an upper curved perch, the Cat Tree is just one of its kinds.
