The Aussie doodle is a cross between the poodle and the Australian shepherd and is hence not a pure bred nor is it a mutt. Though one of its hereditary genes belongs to an Australian poodle, it is found more commonly in the Americas than in Australia. These dogs are available in many shades of grey, black and white. The Aussie Doodle also known as Aussie Poo can grow up to a height of twenty five inches and the weight can be up to seventy pounds.
They are not very big dogs though they are muscular. They have strong bones and a slender body which needs to be exercised to be maintained. These dogs are very sociable and have an above average intelligence. Their adorable looks make them very endearing to the masters and there are chances that the Aussie Doodle ends up being a spoilt pet. Training should not be a problem as these dogs grasp commands well. A healthy diet followed by regular grooming and clipping of nails coupled with scheduled visits to the veterinary doctor for the vaccinations will keep this dog free from illnesses.
